Organised by London College of Fashion, UAL, SAMSARA is a capsule collection project collaborating with the British sustainable brand, Threadtales throughout Covid-19. There was a phenomenon during the wave of coronavirus that a large proportion of people in Europe or America preferred other methodologies that could replace the function of medical masks. The most popular phenomenon is using a scarf covering one’s nose.
This millinery is the ‘new normal’ fashion item, a ‘hat and scarf’ designing for the post-pandemic duration. It is made of the signature and exceptionally rare ‘lotus’ fabric of Threadtales with the decoration of the handcrafted lotus connecting to the nature to tell the brand story behind the fabric. This prestige millinery produced with Couture level standard is the one and only tailoring for the sustainable future.
